Interesting news from the bio-tech front in San Antonio: Locally based Vidacare Corporation – whose intraosseous (inside the bone) technology platform is increasingly expanding its presence in the global market - has just brought on Mark Mellin, CPA as its new Senior Vice President and CFO.
Mark’s experience here in SA with the bio-tech industry is broad and deep – he was the managing partner of Arthur Anderson as well as the CFO for Ilex Oncology, guiding that company through a $1 billion sale to Genzyme Corporation.
He brings a lot to the table and his presence at Vidacare is another indicator of the company’s very positive growth pattern.
